WASHINGTON – The Catholic University of America's Cardinal Stadium has been selected as the host site of the GEICO's inaugural High School Lacrosse Nationals on Memorial Day Weekend. This unique event will allow the best high school lacrosse teams across the United States and Canada to face one another in a post-season tournament, which will be televised on ESPNU and streamed on ESPN3.
Eight participating teams will play in a single-elimination tournament, with a total of seven games, taking place at Catholic.
The quarterfinals will be played on Sunday, May 28, at 1 p.m., 3 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. on ESPN3. Semifinals will take place Monday, May 29, at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. (ESPNU), with the winners advancing to play in the championship game on Tuesday, May 30, at 7 p.m., also on ESPNU.
