Celia Clark-Worley joined the Catholic University athletic department in August of 2011 and serves as the Interim Sports Information Director. Worley arrives at CUA with a variety of experience. She has worked with the Atlanta Braves, Agnes Scott College athletics department, and interned with the Atlanta Beat and Georgia State Games, serving various roles ranging from game operations, marketing, and sports information.
Worley earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Agnes Scott College in 2008, where she was the four-year starting pitcher for the Scotties’ softball team. She went on to earn her master’s degree in Recreation, Sport, and Tourism, with a concentration in sports administration, from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where she graduated top of her class with Phi Kappa Phi honors.
At CUA, Worley is responsible for promoting the Cardinals’ 21 varsity sports, maintaining the athletic department’s website, writing and distributing game programs and news releases and managing teams’ statistics.
Worley currently resides in Arlington, Va. with her wife Sarah.
