Cardinal Stadium (Football, Field Hockey,
Lacrosse)
Cardinal Stadium was converted from a natural grass stadium to a
state-of-the-art synthetic FieldTurf surface in 2006. The complex,
which seats 3,500, includes a six-lane track resurfaced at the same
time, bleachers, press box and scoreboard. The stadium is
home to the Cardinal football, field hockey, lacrosse and track and
field teams. In the summer of 2007 the department installed a
new Daktronics scoreboard to improve the fan experience. The
stadium has also played host to numerous outside events including
high school championships, CUA summer camps and the Special
Olympics D.C. Summer Games.
