Hall of Fame Class of 1979
On Friday, Feb. 2, 1979, the Induction committee honored the 1936 Orange Bowl team. Twenty-four members of the team, all of those who played in the game, were inducted into the Hall of Fame. Director of Athletics Jack Kvancz was the master of ceremonies.
This, the third class to be inducted, brought the total number of members in the Hall to 47.
