Thomas J. Gearty '39

Inducted Jan. 18, 1980

Thomas and his brother, Gerald Gearty combined for six touchdowns in a game against South Dakota. The aerial attack centered around him. Gearty showed great promise as a light heavyweight boxer, nearly knocking out a taller and heavier Loyola competitor in his first appearance.
