John R. Corbett '41

Inducted April 23, 1988

Corbett was unstoppable in the Mason-Dixon Conference in the mile and two-mile runs, winning the championships in 1939, 1940 and 1941. He joined the Marine Corps upon graduation and was killed in action in World War II. The track program gives a trophy in his honor.
