Ralph J. "Whitey" Hubert '50 Inducted April 21, 1990 Hubert was considered one of the finest blocking backs during his four years on the varsity football team. Although he was a hard runner and an outstanding quarterback, football was not Whitey's only claim to athletic fame at Catholic. He was best known as the 175-pound man on the wrestling team. His junior year, Whitey earned the title of Mason-Dixon Conference champion in his weight class and became team captain his senior year. He later coached the Catholic wrestling team. Participation
