William Wilson '69

Inducted Oct. 25, 1997

Wilson earned many honors for his play at both the offensive and defensive end of the court. He was named to the Mason-Dixon Conference's All-Tournament and All-Conference teams for three years. He made the All-Region and All-Metropolitan College/University Team in 1969. In his senior year Wilson served as captain, was named MVP of the team, and once made the All-East Team of the Week. In recognition of his four years of outstanding service to the University as a scholar, an athlete, and a gentleman, Wilson was awarded the 1969 Harris Cup trophy, the most coveted athletic award CUA offers its graduating seniors. He finished his career with 1,234 points, including 30-point performances against Johns Hopkins and Holy Cross..
