Bill Leahy, B.A. '
Leahy led CUA to four winning seasons, including a Mason-Dixon Conference Championship and appearance in the NCAA Division II Tournament in 1964. Although he is the ninth-leading scorer in CUA history with 1,337 points, his forte was rebounding, in which he holds the following CUA records: the highest single-season total--449; the highest per-game average in a single season-- 16.6; the highest number in a single contest--27 vs. Southern Connecticut in 1963; and the highest career total--1,130. In 1964, he was named to the NCAA Regional Tournament First Team and the All-American Division II Second Team. He won the university's coveted Harris Cup in 1964 as CUA's "Outstanding Gentleman, Scholar, and Athlete."
