How Do you Get to...?
Don't know how to get to the DuFour Center? Or, don't know how to catch the Cardinals when they're on the road? Here are directions to the places Catholic University is most likely to play.
Catholic University From the
North: I-95 South to 495 West (Capital Beltway) - toward
Silver Spring. Take New Hampshire Ave. So. (exit 28) - proceed
approx. 4.5 miles. LEFT onto North Capitol St. - proceed
approximately 1.5 miles. LEFT (it's actually more of a fork than a
turn) onto Hawaii Ave. - proceed approximately 1 mile. See back
side of DuFour Center on left. At stop light LEFT onto Taylor St.,
then a quick RIGHT (before the bridge) onto a ramp to take you
underneath Taylor to John McCormack Rd. LEFT on John McCormack and
lot is on the LEFT.
From the Northwest: I-70 to I-270 toward Washington, D.C.
to 495 (Capital Beltway) - toward Silver Spring/Baltimore. Take New
Hampshire Ave. South (exit 28) - follow directions from the
north.
From the South: I-95 North to 395 North. Go
through tunnel, stay in left lanes and take the Baltimore exit to
New York Ave. (Route 50). RIGHT on New York Ave. Go through two
lights and bear RIGHT on M St. LEFT on North Capitol St. RIGHT on
Michigan Ave. - proceed approximately 1.3 miles. LEFT on John
McCormack Rd., just before the bridge. DuFour is about .5 mile on
LEFT.
From the Southwest: I-66 East turns into
Constitution Ave. in D.C. Follow Constitution and after passing 2nd
St., immediately turn diagonally LEFT onto Louisiana Ave. At fifth
light LEFT onto North Capitol St. then follow directions from the
south.
From the East: Take Route 50 towards Washington; EXIT at
South Dakota Ave; follow for approx. 1.5 miles, LEFT at Taylor
Street, go over bridge and quick RIGHT (you will see DuFour
Athletics Center on right) onto a ramp to take you underneath
Taylor to John McCormack Rd; LEFT on John McCormack and parking lot
is on the LEFT.

Drew
From Southern New Jersey via N.J. Turnpike
Take the N.J. Turnpike to exit 10 and follow I-287 North to exit 35 - South Street/Route 124. At the end of the exit ramp, turn left. Proceed 100 yards and take the first right, following signs to Route 124. At the stop sign, turn right (Route 124 East). Proceed three miles to Madison. Drew is located on Route 124 (Madison Avenue) on your right. Enter campus at the traffic light on Lancaster Road. If your destination is the admissions office in Wesley House, please park in one of the first lots on either side of the road. Wesley House is the red-brick historical house bordering the first parking lot on your left.
Goucher
Motorists approaching Goucher College from any direction
are advised to take the Baltimore Beltway (I-695), leaving it at
exit 27A-Towson (Dulaney Valley Road south). The college entrance
is on the left, one-half block from exit 27A.
Juniata
From Washington D.C. and points South Take I-270 North to
I-70 West, merge onto I-81 North to PA 16 West or Exit 5. Follow PA
16 West to PA 522 North to Mount Union and Take US 22 West to
Huntingdon. Turn right at the traffic light intersection of 4th St.
and US 22. Turn left onto Penn St. Turn right onto 6th
St. Turn left onto Moore St. Travel to the intersection
of 18th and Moore Sts, the Swigart Enrollment Center will be
located on your left.
Moravian
From the south: Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania
Turnpike (I-476) to Lehigh Valley exit 56. Follow 22 East to Center
Street. Exit at Center Street (Route 512); turn left off the exit
ramp. Travel south for 2.4 miles and turn right onto Elizabeth
Avenue at traffic light. At second traffic light after Center and
Elizabeth, turn left onto Main Street; turn left at the next corner
onto Locust Street; turn right into the College parking lot.
Susquehanna
Basketball/Track/Swimming/Tennis/Volleyball
From the South: Travel north on Rtes 11-15 from
Harrisburg. Exit Rtes 11-15 at the Selinsgrove exit (Rte 35). Bear
right off the exit ramp and travel approximately one mile. Turn
left at the second traffic light on to Pine Street. Travel
1/2-mile--the Susquehanna entrance is on the left. The Garrett
Sports Complex is the 3rd building on your left.
Soccer/Field Hockey/Lacrosse/Softball
From the South: Travel north on Rtes 11-15 from
Harrisburg. Exit Rtes 11-15 at the Selinsgrove exit (Rte 35). Bear
right off the exit ramp and travel approximately 1/2 mile. Turn
left onto Sassafras Street (Sunoco gas station is on the far left
corner) and travel 3/4 mile. Sassafras Field is on the left just
past the Church of the Nazarene.
Baseball
From the South: Travel north on Rtes 11-15 from
Harrisburg. Exit Rtes 11-15 at the Selinsgrove exit (Rte 35). Bear
right off the exit ramp and travel approximately one mile. Turn
left at the second traffic light on to Pine Street. Travel 3/4 mile
to second four-way stop sign and turn left into campus. Take the
second right across from the entrance to the Degenstein Campus
Center -- Bollinger Field is behind West Residence Hall.
Scranton
Field Hockey/Lacrosse/Soccer
Take the Central Scranton Expressway (exit 185 off Rt. 81
N & S). Follow for approximately ½ mile and take a right
onto the Cedar Avenue Exit. At the stop sign, make a right onto
Cedar Avenue and follow for approximately .2/mile. Then make a
right onto Laurel Line Drive. Parking will be on your left and the
field will be straight ahead.
Basketball/Volleyball
Take the Central Scranton Expressway (Exit 185 off I-81
N&S). Follow the signs to The University of Scranton. Stay in
the far right hand lane as you proceed under the railroad tracks.
Turn right onto Madison Avenue and follow to the stop sign. Make a
right onto Linden Street and follow to the next stop sign. You will
see St. Thomas Hall directly in front of you. Take a right onto
Monroe Avenue and follow it to the next stop sign. Proceed left
onto Ridge Row and follow for 100 yards. The rear entrance to the
John Long Center will be on your left. Please proceed another 100
yards and make two immediate left-hand turns for parking.
Swimming
Take the Central Scranton Expressway (Exit 185 off I-81
N&S). Follow the signs to the University of Scranton. Stay in
the far right hand lane as you proceed under the railroad tracks.
Turn right onto Madison Avenue and follow to the stop sign. Make a
right onto Linden Street and follow to the next stop sign. You will
see St. Thomas Hall directly in front of you. Take a right onto
Monroe Avenue and follow it to the next stop sign. Proceed left
onto Ridge Row and follow for 100 yards. The rear entrance to the
Byron Complex will be on your left. Please proceed another 100
yards and make two immediate left-hand turns for parking.
Softball
Take the Central Scranton Expressway exit (Exit 185 off
Rt. 81 N & S). Follow the signs to the University of Scranton.
Stay in the far right hand lane as you proceed under the tracks.
Turn right onto Madison Ave. and follow to the stop sign. Cross
over Linden Street and proceed one more block and turn left onto
Mulberry Street. Continue on Mulberry and it will turn into North
Scranton Expressway. Exit Main Ave. At the end of the ramp go left.
Go straight through the 1st light under the railroad bridge and
bear left. Approximately 100 yards up the hill take the first right
onto Farr Street. Approximately 5 or 6 blocks, bear right. Tripp
Park will be in front of you.
Baseball
Take Rt. 81 north to exit #182 AB (Davis St./Montage Mtn.
Road). At the light turn left onto Montage Mtn Road. At the next
light, turn left onto Davis St. Go two lights to Pittston Ave. and
turn right. Follow Pittston Ave. for nine (9) blocks. Turn right
onto O'Hara St. Continue on O'Hara St. for three (3) blocks to the
park.
USMMA
From Points South and West: Either I-95 (the New Jersey
Turnpike) North or I-80 East to the George Washington Bridge.
Continue straight and follow signs for the Cross Bronx Expressway
(DO NOT exit in Manhattan). Take the Cross Bronx Expressway, and
follow signs to either the Bronx-Whitestone Bridge or the Throgs
Neck Bridge. Take either Bridge.
From the Throgs Neck Bridge: (Toll is currently $4.00)
Bear right while crossing the bridge, and take the exit on
the right for the Cross Island Parkway. Take the Cross Island
Parkway to Exit 31E (Northern Boulevard, Route 25A). Proceed East
(1.4 miles from the Cross Island Parkway; .3 mile from Little Neck
Parkway) through the village of Little Neck and several traffic
lights to the intersection with Great Neck Road. There is a
four-story, brown office building on the left, and two (2) left
turn lanes at this intersection. You should be in one of the two
left turn lanes. Proceed left (North) on Great Neck Road, and
continue straight (always bearing left, even when the roads fork
off to the right). Continue North, as the road changes names to
Bayview Avenue and then to West Shore Road (the distance you will
travel on this road is about 2.5 miles). At end of West Shore Road
(a STOP Sign), turn right onto Kings Point Road. Proceed to the
next stop sign and make a left onto Steamboat Road. The Academy
entrance/main gate is one block ahead.
From the Bronx Whitestone Bridge: (Toll is currently
$4.00)
Bear left while crossing the bridge, and take the exit on
the left at the end of the bridge onto the Cross Island Parkway.
Take the Cross Island Parkway to Exit 31E (Northern Boulevard,
Route 25A). Proceed East (1.4 miles from the Cross Island Parkway;
.3 mile from Little Neck Parkway) through the village of Little
Neck and several traffic lights to the intersection with Great Neck
Road. There is a four-story, brown office building on the left, and
two (2) left turn lanes at this intersection. You should be in one
of the two left turn lanes. Proceed left (North) on Great Neck
Road, and continue straight (always bearing left, even when the

ODAC Schools
Bridgewater
Take I-66 West to I-81 South to the Mt.
Crawford-Bridgewater Exit (Exit 240, six miles south of
Harrisonburg). Follow State Route 257 which is the northern
boundary of the Bridgewater campus. The football stadium is off
East College Street, which you can reach from 257 using either
Third St. or College View Drive.
Emory & Henry
Take I-66 West to I-81 South. Follow I-81 to Emory, Va.,
Exit 26. Turn right on Virginia 737 and follow a half-mile to
campus.
Guilford
Take I-95 South to I-40 West in Greensboro (the interstate will
split; I-40 is to the right). Take I-40 West to Exit 214, Wendover
Avenue. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right onto Wendover
(east). Proceed for 2.2 miles to the Holden Road Exit (on your
left). At the end of the exit ramp, turn left onto Holden (north).
Proceed for 1.5 miles to West Friendly Avenue, and turn left.
Proceed 2.4 miles to the college entrance on your right (just
before the traffic light at New Garden Road).
Hampden-Sydney
Take I-95 south to Richmond, Virginia. Then take Rt. 195 south to
Powhite Parkway west (toll); follow it to Rt. 288. Take Rt. 288
south to U.S. 360 west. Then follow the signs to Hampden-Sydney via
Rt. 307 west, U.S. 460 west, and U.S. 15 south.
Randolph-Macon
Take I-95 South, approximately 70 miles south of the Beltway. Get
off at Exit 92B - Route 54 West (Ashland). Take Rte. 54 across
Route 1 (your third light). About half-mile mile after Route 1,
take the last right before the railroad tracks. The stadium and
field house are approximately a half-mile down on the right.
Washington & Lee
Follow interstate 81/64 to Exit 195. Follow the exit ramp
and then turn right onto route 11 South. Follow for six miles into
Lexington. Route 11 will fork, take 11 Business to the right and
follow into town. Take a right at Washington Street and it will
take you into the heart of the campus.
