Field Hockey Upset by Susquehanna, 2-1 Catholic University's field hockey team dropped a 2-1 heartbreaker to conference foe Susquehanna University in round one of the Landmark Conference Championships Wednesday afternoon. With the loss, CUA drops to 11-6 on the year, while the Crusaders improve to 10-8.
Men's Soccer Rallies to 3-1 Win over USMMA, Advances to Landmark Finals After falling behind in the 14th minute, CUA men's soccer (15-3-1) rallied to score three unanswered goals and earn the 3-1 victory. With the win the Cardinals advance to the Landmark Conference Finals.
Volleyball Drops Merchant Marine, 3-0, Advances to Landmark Semifinal The CUA women's volleyball team (24-13) advanced to the Landmark Conference Semifinal against Susquehanna tonight, dropping the United State Merchant Marine Academy, 3-0.

Cardinal Basketball Academy Camp Dates Announced
The Catholic University Men’s and Women’s Basketball Programs will be hosting a series of instructional camps throughout the summer at the CUA DuFour Athletic Center. The camps are set for June 15th-19th, June 22nd - 26th, and August 17th - 21st.

Women's Lacrosse Featured in Lax Magazine Online
The 2009 CUA women's lacrosse team grabbed more "ink" today, as the Cardinals were featured in a Lacrosse Magazine Online story. The team first grabbed ink this season when Jr. Kate Robison (Emmitsburg, Md./Catoctin) was featured on Laxmagazine.com, then the team was preseason ranked No. 14 by the IWLCA and No. 17 by Laxmagazine.com.


Kelly Donnelly- Women's Soccer Donnelly posted two goals in CUA's 7-0 victory over Trinity. She then helped the Cardinals clinch the top seed for conference postseason, recording the game-winning goal against Moravian. The junior is second on the team in scoring this year (12 goals), and is number one in assists (6). Donnelly is also leading the Landmark Conference in total scoring.

Both the men's and women's soccer teams will be hosting the Landmark Conference FINALS this Saturday!  The women's game is at 11 a.m. while the men's game will follow at 2 p.m.  CUA Students are admitted free!  Come support your fellow students on their quest for the Landmark Conference crown!

Come join fellow Catholic Alumni at the Pre-Game tent before this week’s final home football game. Enjoy the food and drink provided by the Alumni Office and support the Cards at their last game at the Dufour in 2009.
