WASHINGTON – After helping to lead CUA to a 3-1 record last week with a .600 batting average, Nick Clary was named the Landmark Conference Player of the Week on Monday. Clary totaled six hits, including a home run, five runs and two RBIs in four games. Two of those wins came at USMMA as CUA moved into sole possession of 1st place in the Landmark.

The sophomore then went 1 for 3 in game one of a doubleheader at USMMA on Saturday, before going 1 for 2 with a double and run scored in game two, a 10-1 CUA win.
Clary closed his week out with a 3 for 3 performance, which included a home run, two RBIs and a run as the Cardinals rolled past the Mariners 11-0 on Sunday.
Clary finished the week with a .714 on base percentage and a .900 slugging percentage.
For the season, Clary is batting .342 with 39 hits, 29 runs, and 19 RBIs.
