WASHINGTON – The Catholic University of America head baseball coach Ross Natoli and his coaching staff will host a two-day Summer Prospect Camp on August 26-27. This Camp will be held on campus at the DuFour Athletic Center and Baseball Complex and is designed for advanced high school student-athletes entering grades 9-12 in the fall of 2017 who are striving to reach their full potential and have aspirations to compete at the collegiate level.
The entire Catholic U. Baseball coaching staff will be on hand, including head coach Ross Natoli, who is in his 33rd season, associate head coach Bobby Picardo, pitching coach Mike Parco, and assistant coaches Tim Mierzwa, Chris Nee and Mark Duffy. Coaching staff from Georgetown and George Washington University will be on hand to instruct and evaluate players, as well. Varsity players from the 2017-2018 Catholic University baseball team will also be on staff to participate as assistant camp instructors and interact with prospects and parents.
Whether you are looking to train with a top level Division III coaching staff or showcase your skills with the hope of bringing your game to the next level, this camp may be of interest to you. We offer prospective student-athletes an opportunity to display their skills; to train with, and be evaluated by, our entire current coaching staff; and really get to know more about our program, coaching staff, current team and the unique features of Catholic.
Along with skills evaluation, player development activities and live game competition, participants will engage in sessions covering the academic requirements and expectations of Catholic University and our baseball program, our recruiting and admissions process, and balancing college life, academics and baseball. Dinner on campus for all players and an optional campus tour for players and parents will be included.
