ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. - Adam Weiss threw a complete game four-hitter and Billy Rue was 3-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI as Catholic won its third consecutive game in a 5-0 blanking of St. Mary's in Capital Athletic Conference action Wednesday afternoon.

Senior Justin Siller made CUA baseball history in the third inning as his double gave him 19 on the season, breaking the single-season mark of 18 set by Neil Roach in 1989.

Weiss (4-4) struck out seven as the senior broke a three-game losing streak. He did not allow a Seahawk runner past second base until the seventh inning.

Rue, right, led off the third inning with his double down the right field line. He would score on Siller's two-bagger to put Catholic up 1-0.

With the Cardinals up 4-0 in the eighth inning, Rue added some insurance with a single to center driving home freshman Joe Benedetti.

Catholic plays one more game before the Easter Break tomorrow as CUA takes on Division I Georgetown at 7 p.m.
