      <description>The Landmark Conference announced its 2012-13 Spring Academic Honor Roll on Tuesday, and CUA had 42 student-athletes recognized. The honor roll recognizes spring student-athletes of sophomore standing or older with a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher. In all, 294 student-athletes from around the conference were honored.</description>

      <description>First-seeded CUA lost a heartbreaker in extra innings to the fourth-seeded Scranton Royals, 6-5. In a game that went eleven innings and saw three lead changes, CUA scored five runs to take the lead going into the bottom of the 9th, 5-2. Scranton answered with three runs of its own to tie the game, 5-5. Scranton scored the winning run in the top of the 11th, on a double to left field.</description>

Timothy Arner (Allentown, PA) went the distance for the Mariners in the loss as the junior struck out four batters, giving up three runs on six hits.</description>
