Maca and Bzozowski Earn Weekly Honors
Accolades continue to come for the Catholic University baseball squad (26-13-1) as two student-athletes earn Landmark Conference Player of the Week honors. Senior Joe Maca (Oyster Bay, N.Y./Saint Dominic) was named the Player of the Week while sophomore Michael Bzozowski (Moorestown, N.J./Moorestown) earned the Pitcher of the Week award. Cardinals Win Baseball Landmark Championship
The third-seeded Catholic University baseball squad (26-13-1) overcame adversity this past weekend to win the Landmark Conference Championship by defeating the University of Scranton (26-16), 16-7, in the deciding game. The Cardinals beat both the first and second seeds earlier in the tourney to then face fourth-seeded Scranton coming out of the loser’s bracket. Third-Seeded Cardinals Upset Juniata to Advance to Championship
The Catholic University of America baseball team (25-13-1) pulled off a 5-3 upset of the top-seeded and hosting Juniata College Eagles (26-11) Saturday in the Landmark Conference tournament. Without a loss in the double-elimination tournament, the Cardinals will play on Sunday in the Landmark Conference Championship needing only one win to get the title, a loss will force a second game. [MORE]

Cardinals Advance in Ten-Inning Comeback Win
The third-seeded Catholic University baseball squad (24-13-1) needed every second of its ten-inning contest against Susquehanna University (18-20) Friday in its opening game of the Landmark Conference Tournament. After falling behind 14-0 in the first five innings, the third-seeded Cardinals staged a tremendous comeback to force extra innings and get the eventual 17-16 victory over the second-seeded Crusaders. [MORE]
