Catholic Football Falls to Hampden-Sydney

WASHINGTON – The Catholic University football team suffered its first loss of the season on Saturday, Oct. 5 against Hampden-Sydney with a 39-27 loss in Hampden-Sydney, Va. 

CUA scored two touchdowns in the second and third quarter.  Tanner Keefe scored two touchdowns in the second quarter.  The first was a 40-yard pass from TJ Tutone and the second was a three-yard pass from E.J. Montgomery

In the third quarter, Andrew Oullette caught an eight-yard pass from Tutone and Nikolas Echeverria received a 43-yard pass from Montgomery.

The Tigers scored in every quarter for their first Old Dominion Athletic Conference win of the season.

Catholic returns to Cardinal Stadium on Friday, Oct. 11 at 7:00 p.m. to face Randolph-Macon.
