    The Catholic University of America played the first-ever New England Women’s & Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) football game on Saturday afternoon at Cardinal Stadium and despite a 21-point second quarter, were topped by MIT, 38-21.

    For the second-straight week, The Catholic University of America football senior Patrick Vidal has earned the New England Women’s & Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Defensive Athlete of the Week award.

    The Catholic University of America football team earned a hard-fought victory over Randolph-Macon on Saturday afternoon at Cardinal Stadium, 25-20. The Cardinals now improve to 2-1 overall as they closed out nonconference play.

    The Catholic University of America football team was recognized with two selections to the D3football.com National Team of the Week as announced on Tuesday. Senior punter Andrew DiNardo and classmate and defensive tackle Patrick Vidal each made the team.

    The Catholic University of America football team was victorious in its home opener on Saturday afternoon at Cardinal Stadium as the Cards defeated Utica, 16-10. Senior defensive lineman Patrick Vidal anchored a staunch defensive effort that forced five turnovers.
