Boyle Earns ODAC, D3football.com Honors

Dan Boyle (Warminster, Pa./Archbishop Wood) has been named Old Dominion Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week and to the D3football.com Team of the Week for his performance in the Cardinals' 47-0 victory over Washington and Lee on Saturday.

Boyle rushed 33 times for 197 yards and four touchdowns - all career highs - to help CUA improve to 2-3 overall and 1-1 in the ODAC. W&L, which entered the game ranked 27th nationally by Football Gazette, fell to 4-1 (2-1).

Boyle scored on runs of 5, 21, 6 and 3 yards and produced his second consecutive 100-yard game.

The junior tailback ran for 136 yards against Div. I-AA La Salle on Sept. 30. He leads the ODAC in rushing with 583 yards (116.5 ypg).

Boyle's previous career high of 137 yards was set last year at Bridgewater (Va.) on just nine carries.
