Bublavi recognized with national honor
WASHINGTON --- Sophomore wideout Nick Bublavi
(Norwood, Pa./Interboro), right, was named to the Don Hansen
Division III All-American Third Team on offense. He is one of 74
players in Division III to be named to the prestigious teams.
This season, Bublavi caught 62 passes and led the ODAC with 1,206 receiving yards. He was named to the All-ODAC First Team and his 14 touchdowns were also a league best. The sophomore had five multi-touchdown games this season, including two games with three touchdowns.
He was named the ODAC player of the week after a hauling in five receptions for 150 yards and two scores to help CUA to its first win under first-year head coach Tom Mulholland in a 39-20 win over Washington & Lee.
The Cardinals finished 4-6 and 2-4 in the ODAC this season.
