WASHINGTON --- Junior linebacker Bobby
Stutz (Hillsborough, N.J./Immaculata) was named the Old
Dominion Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week for
September 20th.
Stutz, right, was a defensive stalwart on Saturday against Shenandoah, totaling 11 tackles, including five for losses, two sacks, and an interception. His five stops for losses totaled 16 yards.
For the season, Stutz leads the team in tackles for losses (8) and sacks (3) and is second on the squad with 22 tackles.
The Cardinals look to earn their first win of the season as they host Randolph-Macon in the ODAC opener for both teams here at DuFour Field this Saturday. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m.
