Repass Selected to Senior All-Star Squad

WASHINTON - Catholic University senior forward Michele Repass (Poolesville, Md. / Poolesville) has been named to the 2007 National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III Senior All-Star team for her outstanding performance thus far this season.  The game will be held on November 17 at Ursinus College.

Repass leads the teams in goals, assists, and points, with nine, five and 23 respectively. In her first three years as a Cardinal she netted a combined 28 goals and 12 assists. She as started all 76 games of her career, that being every game since her beginnings in the program. 

Repass' success is nothing new as she was named CAC Rookie of the Year in 2004 (first in program history). Also in 2004, she was named second team All-CAC, and the Cardinals' Rookie of the Year. Her 2005 season followed suit as she was named second team All-CAC and womensfieldhockey.com DIII Player of the Week. Repass' junior year culminated with a first team all-South Region selection, first team all-CAC selection and a CAC Athlete of the Week.

Repass recently helped the Catholic University field hockey team clinch a berth in the Landmark Conference tournament with a two goal performance in the 3-1 victory over the Moravian Greyhounds. The Cardinals will play in the championship game of the Landmark Conference tournament on Saturday at 4 p.m., versus nationally-ranked Juniata at Cardinal Stadium.
