Landmark Conference honors Harwood as Player of the Week

WASHINGTON – Following a career-high four-goal performance in CUA's 10-0 win over Goucher last week, freshman Colleen Harwood was named the Landmark Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.  This marks the first time Harwood has received the award and the fifth straight week in which a CUA player was honored by the league.

Harwood scored the game's first goal on Wednesday, which proved to be all that CUA would need.  But the freshman wasn't done, scoring three more times, all of which came in succession in the first half.

For the season Harwood has totaled nine goals and 18 points, both of which are second for CUA.  Two of Harwood's goals have been game-winners.

CUA is back in action on Monday afternoon when the Cardinals hit the road to face St. Mary's beginning at 2 p.m.  On Saturday, CUA will head to Juniata to face the Eagles in a crucial Landmark Conference showdown.
