Hermann honored by Landmark Conference as POW
WASHINGTON – Freshman Kim Hermann has been named the Landmark Conference Offensive Player of the Week, it was announced on Monday. Hermann led the Cardinals with seven points in two games last week, including both goals in their game with No. 10 Rowan.
Hermann began the week with a second-half goal and assist in CUA's 8-0 victory over Gettysburg on September 13, and followed that performance up with a two-goal effort at No. 10 Rowan on September 17. She scored her two goals in a span of 14 minutes in helping give CUA a 2-1 halftime lead over the Profs.
For the season, Hermann leads the Cardinals in goals (4), assists (3) and points (11). She has scored her four goals on only ten shots.
CUA plays twice this week, beginning on Wednesday evening when the Cardinals host Mary Washington inside Cardinal Stadium. Action gets underway beginning at 7 p.m.
