WASHINGTON – Kim Hermann was the solo Cardinal to score in No. 13 Catholic's 2-1 overtime conference loss to Drew on Saturday, Sept. 28 in Madison, N.J.
As the Cards trailed 1-0, Hermann recovered the ball off a Drew defender and slipped it into the back of the cage to gridlock the contest 1-1.
CUA's senior goalie Megan Comunale saved two consecutive Drew attempts, before the Rangers' Sam Barcia scored a wide-open goal eight minutes into the overtime.
Catholic drops to 5-3 on the season and 0-1 in the Landmark Conference.
