WASHINGTON – CUA junior Maura Campbell ignited a 3-0 run to advance the Cardinals to 8-4 on the season and 3-1 in Landmark conference play on Saturday after defeating Susquehanna.
Campbell placed the Cards on the board after scoring on Susquehanna's goalie Margaret Ruth with the first Cardinal Stadium stroke.
During the second half, junior Kim Hermann scored the last two goals in the home victory.
Hermann finished a pass from Campbell into the left side of the box for a 2-0 advance. For the final 3-0 mark, Hermann blasted past her defender, pulled the goalie out of the box and scored a wide-open goal.
