Cardinal Field Hockey Defeats Randolph-Macon in Mid-Week Action

WASHINGTON – CUA junior Colleen Harwood put the offensive game in motion in Wednesday's 4-0 shutout of the Randolph-Macon Yellow Jackets with one goal and three assists.

Cards junior Rebecca Lukaszczyk opened the scoring effort on a cross pass from Harwood.  Less than a minute later, Hardwood scored an unassisted goal to close out the first half 2-0.

Red and black junior Kim Hermann dominated the second half scoring with two back-to-back goals from Harwood.  Hermann's goals were also scored less than a minute apart.

CUA will return to Landmark Conference play on Saturday, Oct. 26 at Juniata at 4 p.m.
