WASHINGTON - Five members of the 2013 Landmark Conference Championship Field Hockey team were named to the All-Landmark Team on Tuesday, Nov. 12.
Catholic's Kim Hermann and Maura Campbell have been named First Team selections for the third time in three years. Hermann is the Cardinals' leading scorer with 14 goals and four assists through the regular season. She finished second in the Landmark in conference goals with six. The 2013 Landmark Championship Most Valuable Player, Campbell has been credited as Catholic's on-field leader. She is a solid force at center midfield and tallied two goals with six assists in the regular season including the game-winning assist against nationally ranked Salisbury.
Leading the Landmark's top defense are CUA's Tarah Portland and Megan Comunale. Portland is a sophomore defender with great speed and counterattacking abilities. Comunale finished the regular season with a league-low 0.75 goals against average and currently ranks fourth in NCAA Division III.
Sophomore defender Madalyn Dennis was named to the second team.
