Season in Review

The Cardinals ended the 1985 season with an overall record of 8-7-1 and placed second in the Washington College Field Hockey Tournament after losing to Division I foe Georgetown in penalty strokes. Six players where selected to the Washington All-Star team (Michele Wentling, Karen Goebel, Dorothy DuPree, Lisa Kneser, Barbara Veith, and Denise Fregede).  These six players were given the opportunity to play in the Southeast Field Hockey Tournament, where two of the six were selected to the Southeast All-Star team (Wentling and DuPree).
