Snyder's goals lead CU past G'burg Sept. 18, 2001

WASHINGTON - Senior Andi Snyder (Bryn Mawr, Pa./Sacred Heart) had her second consecutive two-goal game to lead Catholic to a 4-1 victory against Gettysburg in a non-league game Tuesday afternoon.

Junior Steph Roselle (Tinton Falls, N.J./Red Bank Catholic) opened the scoring at the 19:11 mark of the first half with her third goal of the season. Eight minutes later, senior Maggie Mahoney (Gaithersburg, Md./Stone Ridge) found the back of the net with her second goal of the year.

After the Bullets switched goalies at the half, Snyder would not make Gettysburg's day any better by scoring her team-leading fourth and fifth goals of the season in a four-minute span early in the period. Gettysburg's Meagan Perry ended the hopes of a CUA shutout by scoring with just 10 minutes remaining. Junior goalie Katie Iannacone (Havertown, Pa./Villa Maria) made eight stops for the Cardinals.
