Lexington, Va.--- Catholic broke a eight-game losing streak as sophomore Rebecca Clark's (Pasadena, Md./Seton Keough) two second-half goals capped a CUA rally to lead the Cardinals to a 3-2 win over Washington & Lee in on-conference action.

Down 2-0 at the half, the Cardinals (6-9) got on the board early in the second half with a penalty stroke goal from freshman Christy Engstrom (Phoenixville, Pa./Springford).

Clark tied it at 2-2 with her ninth goal of the year with an assist from freshman Jamie Punyko (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy) at the 24:19 mark of the second. Clark then finished the rally with her unassisted goal with just over 15 minutes remaining in the game.

Senior goalie Katie Iannacone (Havertown, Pa./Villa Maria) posted eight saves in the win.

The Cardinals return to action on Tuesday, October 29th as they host York College in a CAC match to close out the regular season, here at the DuFour Center at 3:30 p.m.
