CUA CONTINUES CLIMB IN NFHCA COACHES POLL

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Oct. 11, 2005) -- The CUA Cardinals are now ranked 13th in the latest STX/NFHCA Coaches Poll. This marks the second time in team history the squad has reached 13th in the poll and ties the highest ranking in team history.

The Cardinals moved up after being edged by #1 Salisbury in the final minutes of the contest last week. Salisbury went on to lose its next game 3-1 to The College of New Jersey dropping them to #2 in the poll.

In 2001, the Cardinals made a similar climb beating two highly ranked teams and ending the season at 16-4 with the most wins in program history.
