WASHINGTON-- Ten shots and two goals were all the Cardinals needed today as CUA stayed undefeated in Landmark play with a 2-1 win over Drew University.

Tracey Scanlon (North Wales, Pa./Gwynedd Mercy) and Kendall Petschauer (West Long Branch, N.J./Shore Regional) both notched goals for the Cardinals in the first half.  Petschauer opened the scoring in the 15th minute, when Carley Walko (Freehold, N.J./Red Bank Catholic) passed the ball from the sideline across the face of the net and Petschauer drove the ball just inside the near post.  Scanlon's goal came from a scramble in front of the net in the 21st minute.

The defense then took over for CUA.  Allowing only nine total shots, and picking up two defensive saves from Ro Dixon (Ardmore, Pa./Country Day Sacred Heart).

Lauren Collini scored for Drew as Meghan Howlett's driven pass from outside the arc was redirected past the CUA defense.

CUA will return to action Thursday, October 23rd against Rowan at Cardinal Stadium at 4:30 p.m.
