Today was our fourth day in Argentina and our second day of hockey games!

We first had a clinic from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with Maria, a national Argentinian player who taught us new skills and concepts. The field and club we practiced at is the one where Luciana Aymar, arguably the best player in the world, plays now.

Next we went to lunch at Bouchon, the restaurant we went to the first night, to see our friend, George, the owner. Greeted with a kiss and hug at the front door, we ate a quick lunch and headed off to UCA or la Universidad Catolica de Argentina. We met the director of international relations department, two of her younger female employees and Miguel, an alum of the music school who accompanied us from the hotel. This was the students' first week back from their holidays.

Our hosts took us through the buildings, from libraries to classrooms to auditoriums and an art gallery. Their campus, built in 1994 in the restored warehouse district, is located right on the water and is very beautiful. All of their buildings are connected and accessible underground. In an exchange of gifts, we all received pins and pens from our hosts and we gave them CUA coffee mugs and a pennant as well as the trading pins we've given our opponents.

Tonight was our second game and we played Licero Naval. We put up a good fight but were defeated 3-0 by our quick and skilled opponents. Following our game we all huddled together by a fire in their clubhouse and ate burgers and dessert they made for us. We took pictures, exchanged small gifts and were able to learn some things about the other girls.
