CUA 14th in this week's Kookaburra/NFHCA National Poll

WASHINGTON – The CUA field hockey team is No. 14 in this week's Kookaburra/NFHCA Division III National Coaches Poll, which was released on Tuesday.  The Cardinals picked up their ninth win of the season last week as they appear in the poll for the fourth straight week.

CUA is ranked No. 20 in this week's womensfieldhockey.com rankings, while in the fieldhockeycorner.com ratings, the Cardinals also check in at number 20 nationally.  CUA is number seven in the South Atlantic Region ratings.

The Cardinals continue to lead the Landmark Conference in a number of statistical categories, including scoring margin (2.81), scoring average (3.78), shutouts (6), goals average (3.91), and goals allowed (11).

No. 14 CUA will return to action on Tuesday evening when the Cardinals play host to St. Mary's inside Cardinal Stadium.  Game time is scheduled for 6:00 and all of the action can be seen live on cuacardinals.com.
