Saturday's soccer doubleheader moved to Cardinal Stadium

WASHINGTON – With the recent heavy rainfall in the area, Saturday’s soccer doubleheader vs. Juniata will be played inside Cardinal Stadium. The men’s game will get things started at 1 p.m., followed by the women’s match at 3:30. Both teams are currently unbeaten within the Landmark Conference.

The CUA men, ranked tenth in this week’s NSCAA Mid-Atlantic Region, are currently riding a five-match winning streak after shutting out McDaniel 2-0 on Wednesday evening. The Cardinals picked up a huge 2-1 road win at Merchant Marine Academy last weekend that vaulted them into sole possession of first place within the Landmark.

Winners of four of their last five matches, the CUA women enter this weekend with a 2-0 mark within the Landmark. The Cardinals dropped a tough 2-1 decision to Shenandoah earlier this week, but will look to bounce back and remain atop the conference standings on Saturday.
