High School: Started his final two years and played varsity as a sophomore • Averaged 15 points, 10 rebounds and 3 blocks as a senior; 12 points, 8 rebounds and 2 blocks as a junior. Captain both seasons • Named team MVP and honorable mention All-Montgomery County by Montgomery Gazette his final year. Club finished 19-6 • Ranked 87^th-best senior in Maryland by Mid Atlantic Hoops • Panthers (20-4) won the Montgomery 3A/2A/1A Division Championship in 2004-05 • Team advanced to Maryland 3A West Region semifinals his sophomore and senior years • Coached by Walter Hardy • Honor Roll student • Played varsity soccer as a sophomore. Notable: Played on Maryland Madness team that placed fifth in the AAU 17-and-under national tournament in 2006. Head coach was longtime NBA veteran Buck Williams.
