No. 13 CUA ranked 2nd in Mid-Atlantic region

WASHINGTON – CUA is ranked No. 2 in the latest NCAA Regional rankings, announced on Wednesday.  The Cardinals, who are ranked 13th nationally by D3hoops.com, are 20-3 overall and 10-2 in the Landmark Conference.

17 of CUA's 20 wins have come within the Mid-Atlantic region, including victories over ranked foes St. Mary's, Scranton and DeSales.

Regional ranking is one of the criteria used for selection and seeding purposes for the NCAA Tournament. For more information on the regional rankings, click here.

The Cardinals have been nationally ranked every week since November 26, following a pair of wins over ranked foes at the season opening Hoopsville National Invitational Classic.

CUA returns to action on Wednesday evening when the Cardinals travel to Goucher for a 7:30 p.m. tip. A win gives the Cards the Landmark Conference regular season championship and the No. 1 seed in next week's conference tournament.
