Jackson leads Salisbury to win against Catholic
WASHINGTON - Salisbury State University outscored Catholic University 38-28 in the second half to beat the Cardinals 78-71 at the Raymond A. DuFour Center at Catholic University. Victor Jackson, the leading scorer in the CAC, had 22 points for the Sea Gulls while shooting 7-for-12 from the field and adding seven free throws in eight attempts. Doug King also added 18 points for Salisbury as they improve to 7-5 (2-1 CAC).
Catholic (9-4, 1-2 CAC) had four players score in double figures led by Pat Maloney with 15 points. Sophomore center Matt Hilleary had 14 points on 6-for-7 shooting from the field. Andy Rice had 12 and Will Morley had 10 in the loss.
