The second half saw Gettysburg climb to within three at 37-34 off a three-pointer by David Glaser.
But the Cardinals went on an 11-0 run to raise the lead back up to double digits. Glaser scored a game-high 19 points.
Gettysburg never got within 12 points the rest of the way as Catholic was 22-of-29 from the free-throw line for the game.
