DWYER NAMED FIRST TEAM ALL-CONFERENCE (Feb. 28, 2006)
WASHINGTON, D.C.-- CUA junior forward Patrick Dwyer earned first team All-Capital Athletic Conference honors on Monday.
The Williamsburg, Virginia native led the Cards in scoring (12.5 points per game) and rebounds (6.6 per game) in helping CUA claim their sixth CAC championship. Dwyer grabbed a career-high 16 rebounds in the CAC Tournament championship against Salisbury. He scored a season-best 27 points in the overtime win over York at DuFour Center on January 18.
Dwyer and his Cardinal teammates travel to York, Pennsylvania for the first round of the NCAA Tournament this Friday, March 3 against Widener at 6:00 p.m.
