Landmark Announces Winter All-Academic Team
The Landmark Conference has announced that 32 student-athletes have been honored with selection to the 2007-08 Winter Landmark All-Academic Team. Two male and two female athletes from each of the eight Landmark institutions were selected for the team which honors athletes who have excelled athletically and academically. [MORE]

Banzhaf Earns Landmark Rookie of the Year
– The Catholic University of America freshman Jason Banzhaf (Livingston, N.J./Seton Hall Prep) has been named the 2007-08 Landmark Conference men’s basketball Rookie of the Year and second team all-conference the league announced Wednesday. The forward was also one of just two freshmen named all-conference with 10 of the 12 spots going to seniors. He is the first CUA athlete to earn one of the top individual awards. [MORE]

Banzhaf Named Player of the Week
Jason Banzhaf (Livingston, N.J./Seton Hall Prep) capped off his rookie year with an outstanding performance Saturday evening. He was recognized for his efforts with the Landmark Conference’s Player of the Week honor. This is the freshman’s first conference honor of the season. [MORE]

Banzhaf’s Big Game Seals Cardinal Victory
The Catholic University men’s basketball squad (10-15, 4-10 Landmark Conference) finished its season on a high note with a 76-68 victory over conference-rival Goucher College (6-19, 4-10 Landmark) who had beaten them previously this past season. Freshman Jason Banzhaf (Livingston, N.J./Seton Hall Prep) led CUA with 32 points and 18 rebounds marking the finest performance of his CUA career. [MORE]
