Singer takes part in speaking panel at U.S. Dept. of Justice

WASHINGTON – CUA Head Men's Lacrosse Coach Brooks Singer recently took part in a speaking panel at the United States Department of Justice (DOJ) by the Leadership Excellence and Achievement Program Class of 2012 (LEAP Class of 2012).  Over 400 employees were in attendance to listen to Singer speak about "Achieving Success Through Great Health."

The event took place on June 14 in the Great Hall of the Robert F. Kennedy Main Justice Building and was broadcasted department-wide.  Singer and his fellow speakers shared their insights and views on the importance of good health in achieving success.

Prior to becoming CUA's full-time head lacrosse coach this past year, Singer had been employed as a Senior Investigator/Attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice in the Civil Rights Division.  This background coupled with Singer's experience as a coach helped to underscore the value of good health.

Singer led the Cardinals to their third straight Landmark Conference Tournament appearance in 2012.  CUA went 9-6 overall, including a perfect 4-0 mark at home, and produced four All-Landmark Conference selections.
