Join the Men's Lacrosse team at the WellockStrong Capitol Dash on 11/17
Friends of CUA Men's Lacrosse, please consider supporting this
year's Cardinals in the Community event, the
WellockStrong Capitol Dash on Saturday,
November 17, 2012 at 10 am! Members of the CUA men's lacrosse
team, along with others who wish to participate, will be running
the National Mall Loop from the U.S. Capitol to the Lincoln
Memorial and back to raise money for the Wellock Family.
On July 26, 2012, Bill Wellock, an alumnus of Catholic University
and father of men's lacrosse sophomore Chris Wellock, was in a
traumatic, life-altering accident that left him paralyzed from the
waist down. Bill is among the "5%" that his cardiac surgeon
stated survives the extensive injuries he received. After a
few setbacks, Bill is now slowly recovering at the Magee
Rehabilitation Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa., and hopes to be
discharged soon.
Proceeds collected supporting the WellockStrong Capitol
Dash will go to the Wellock family to support ongoing
medical and rehabilitation expenses. Donations of any amount
will be accepted by members of the Cardinals men's lacrosse team in
the form of check or money order, payable to Catholic
Lacrosse CSP.
Mail Donations to:

be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 3rd Street &
