WASHINGTON - The Catholic University men's lacrosse team made its annual spring break trip to Florida this week and scrimmaged the University of Tampa.
The Cardinals also had the opportunity to visit the Wounded Warrior Project offices located in Jacksonville, Fla. Earlier this season, CUA hosted its first ever Faceoff for a Cause, with proceeds benefiting the WWP.
The event featured a Division I contest in which Army defeated Furman 12-2, and was followed with a double-overtime thriller with Catholic beating Randolph-Macon 11-10.
Head coach Brooks Singer has been working with the WWP in the D.C. Metro area helping put on adaptive lacrosse clinics for veterans.
