WASHINGTON - Junior John Bracken (Glen Mills, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara) and sophomore Justin Kelly (Milton, Mass./Boston College) each scored a pair of goals to help Catholic University defeat Brockport State 9-5 to end a three-game losing streak.

Sophomore Matt Monfet (West Orange, N.J./Seton Hall Prep), left, made 18 saves as Catholic outshot Brockport, 34-31.

Junior Ryan Welsh (Glen Mills, Pa./Salesianum) totaled a game high five points (one goal, four assists) and teammate Tom Alexander (Manhasset, N.Y./St. Mary's) added a goal and two helpers.

The Cardinals (2-7) return to action on Saturday as they travel to face Marietta in a non-league game at 1 p.m.
