Season ends at St. Mary's in CAC playoffs
ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. - Catholic fell to St. Mary's in the first round of the CAC playoffs, 15-4. The Cardinals end the season at 5-10.

The Seahawks raced to an 8-2 halftime lead and built their margin to 10-2 after three quarters.

Junior Ryan Welsh's (Glen Mills, Pa./Salesianum) unassisted tally opened the fourth quarter but St. Mary's answered by scoring the next four goals in a 10-minute span.

Andrew Toussaint led the Seahawks (5-8) with two goals and four assists.

Junior Justin Kelly (Milton, Mass./Boston College) had two goals for CUA while Welsh added an assist. Junior Eric Slagle (Poolesville, Md./Poolesville) also tallied for the Cardinals.
