Inside Lacrosse names Fuccillo a preseason All-American

WASHINGTON – Chris Fuccillo has been named a preseason honorable mention All-American by Inside Lacrosse, it was recently announced.  A First Team All-Landmark Conference selection last year, Fuccillo scored 37 goals and finished with 44 points in 2011.

Fuccillo was CUA’s third-leading goal scorer and point producer a season ago.  A two-time First Team All-Conference honoree, and three-time All-Conference selection, Fuccillo picked up 19 ground balls and caused nine turnovers last year, in addition to his offensive prowess.  His three assists in the season opener vs. Marymount were a season high.

Fuccillo scored multiple goals in nine games, including five vs. Berry and Merchant Marine Academy.  He registered multiple points in 12 games with a high of six coming against Marymount.

In three seasons at CUA, Fuccillo has totaled 105 goals and 123 points.
