Mike Borsz is a native of upstate New York who attended Hobart College in Geneva, N.Y. He graduated in 2003 with a B.A. in sociology. Borsz was a three year starting goalkeeper for the Statesmen and helped the team earn two NCAA tournament appearances during his time at Hobart. As a two-time All-Patriot League goalkeeper and team captain, Borsz finished his collegiate career with an appearance in the elite North-South All-Star Classic. Since his graduation, he has coached several English club teams, worked with the West Genesee High School team, and prior to joining the CUA staff, was an assistant coach at Colgate University.
Borsz, who previously worked as an Admissions Counselor in the
Office of Admissions at CUA, currently works in the CUA Athletics
Department as an Assistant Athletic Director and Recruiting
Coordinator, as well as an Assistant Men's Lacrosse Coach. In his
4th year with the Cardinals, he is the team's Defensive
Coordinator, and also works as the Goalie Coach.
In addition, he is presently pursuing his Masters in Education
Administration from CUA. He resides with his wife Karen in
Washington, D.C..
