Brennan named Landmark's Offensive Player of the Week

WASHINGTON – After scoring two goals, including the game-winner, in CUA's 4-0 win over conference foe Moravian on Saturday, Mike Brennan was named the Landmark Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.  Brennan netted his first score in the 16th minute vs. the Greyhounds and added another in the second half.

Brennan's first goal vs. the Greyhounds came at the 15:17 mark of the opening half and proved to be the game-winner.  The junior then added his second score of the afternoon at the 59:18 mark of the match to all but seal the Cardinals fifth win in 2011.

Brennan currently leads the Cardinals with five goals, ten points and 22 shots.  Three of his goals have been game-winners.

Brennan and the Cardinals will be back in action on Saturday, October 1 when they begin a three-match road trip at Susquehanna.  Start time from Pennsylvania is set for 1 p.m.
